Twilio Voice

Handle inbound/outbound calls in OXVO using Twilio Voice.

Overview

Overview: Connect Twilio Voice to route inbound calls and voicemails into OXVO as conversations.

Where to set it up: Dashboard → ConnectionsChannels → select the channel → Connect.

How it works

  • Inbound calls create conversations (or call records) tied to a phone number/contact.

  • Agents can call back, add call notes, and link recordings where available.

  • Call routing and IVR remain managed in Twilio; OXVO focuses on support workflows.

Configure - implementation details

Connect Twilio Voice

  1. In Twilio, configure your phone number’s voice webhook (or Studio Flow) to route calls to your desired IVR/routing logic.

  2. Go to Dashboard → ConnectionsChannels and click Connect on Voice.

  3. Enter your Twilio credentials and select the phone number(s) you want to link to OXVO.

  4. Copy any required callback URLs from OXVO into Twilio (status callbacks, recording callbacks—if enabled).

  5. Place a test call and confirm OXVO records the interaction and creates/updates the corresponding conversation.
