Overview
Overview: Use OpenAI to generate reply suggestions, summarize long threads, and enhance tone/clarity for agents.
Where to set it up: Dashboard → Connections → Integrations → OpenAI → Configure.
How it works
OXVO sends only the conversation context needed for the selected AI feature to the OpenAI API.
The OpenAI response is displayed to agents as a suggestion; agents remain in control of what is sent to the customer.
Optional: generate label suggestions to speed up triage.
Configure - implementation details
Configure OpenAI
If the app is currently Disabled, click Connect first, then continue with the configuration steps.
Click Configure for OpenAI in Dashboard → Connections → Integrations.
Paste your OpenAI API key.
Choose which features to enable (for example: reply suggestions, summarization, rewrite).
Optional: enable Label suggestions to propose labels based on conversation content.
Save and run a test on a non-production inbox to validate the output quality.
Security: Use a dedicated API key with least privilege. Rotate keys regularly and restrict access to admins.
