Overview
Overview: Receive and respond to Instagram DMs in OXVO by connecting an Instagram Business Account linked to a Facebook Page.
Where to set it up: Dashboard → Connections → Channels → select the channel → Connect.
How it works
Instagram DMs create conversations and contacts in OXVO.
Agent replies from OXVO are sent to Instagram in near real time.
You can enable/disable supported message types per account once connected.
Configure - implementation details
Connect Instagram
Go to Dashboard → Connections → Channels and click Connect on Instagram.
Confirm your Instagram account is a Business/Creator account linked to a Facebook Page in the same Meta Business Account.
Sign in with Facebook when prompted and pick the Instagram Business Account and the associated Facebook Page.
Approve requested permissions and complete setup.
In OXVO, enable the message types/accounts you want routed into the inbox (for example: DMs, story replies, mentions—depending on availability).
